Grant focuses his practice on civil litigation and commercial law, representing businesses and individuals in complex disputes in both State and Federal courts. He advises and advocates in matters involving business/contract disputes, real estate issues, and other civil claims, guiding clients from early case assessment through negotiated resolution, motion practice, and trial when needed.
In addition to his litigation work, Grant maintains a sports law practice. He represents and advises athletes and collectives on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) and revenue‑sharing matters in college athletics. Grant has a passion for protecting athlete’s rights and represents amateur and professional athletes in pursuit of that goal in both administrative and judicial venues.
Outside of his legal practice, Grant is deeply engaged in community leadership, serving with the Asian Pacific American Bar Association (APABA), Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), the Brighton Economic Development Corporation, and the Minoru Yasui Inn of Court. His recent professional recognitions include: 5280 Top Lawyers (2025-2026), Super Lawyers Rising Star (2022–2026), the 2023 Governor Ralph Carr Award, and 2023 Brighton Economic Development Corporation Board Member of the Year.
Grant’s approach to practicing law is grounded in the understanding that legal strategy is never one‑size‑fits‑all. He collaborates closely with every client to build a tailored strategy aligned with their objectives, prioritizing clear communication, practical problem‑solving, and efficient results.
