We are proud to share that 3i Law Attorney Zach Dougherty has been elected as the new president of the Mountain West UAS (MWUAS) organization. MWUAS is dedicated to advancing and promoting unmanned aerial systems (UAS or Drones) education and collaboration.
MWUAS officials said the changes will reflect the organization’s commitment to sustainable growth and leadership excellence in the UAS industry. Zach has previously served on the board of MWUAS and has moderated several UAS Roundup events. With a proven track record and deep involvement in the UAS community, Dougherty will continue to steer the MWUAS organization toward future success.
At 3i Law, Zach represents corporate clients in a broad range of transactional matters including employee ownership structures, corporate and non-profit formation/governance, construction contracting, UCC commercial transactions and real estate work. Zach also specializes in the myriad legal issues surrounding uncrewed aerial systems (UAS, or drones), helping clients navigate the sometimes unpredictable legal and regulatory requirements for drone operations. His work in this area includes best practices, risk assessments, insurance requirements, and civil liability (trespass, invasion of privacy, etc.).
